① Small Car Sticker Application (Dry Method)Tools Needed: Rag, scraper, or credit card- clean the car's surface thoroughly and ensure it's dry. Decide where you want to place the sticker. Slowly apply the sticker, using the scraper to smooth it out while peeling off the backing paper. For smaller stickers, you can remove the transparent transfer film and sticker together before applying. Be careful not to let the sticker stick to itself. After applying, use the scraper to press down and smooth the sticker multiple times. Then, remove the transparent transfer film. For stickers around doors or seams, use a craft knife to trim and tuck the edges inside the car's seams. Ensure the sticker adheres firmly to the surface, with no edges lifting or protruding.② Large Car Sticker Application (Wet Method)Tools Needed: Rag, spray bottle, scraper, or credit card-- clean the car's surface and spray water evenly on the area where you plan to apply the sticker. This reduces the sticker's adhesion, allowing easier repositioning. Position the sticker carefully. Begin by applying one side, using the scraper to smooth it down while peeling off the backing paper. For areas like door handles or friction strips, trim the sticker as needed and wrap it around these areas. Once the sticker is roughly positioned, press out any water and air bubbles. Then, remove the transparent transfer film. Use a craft knife to trim the sticker along door seams and edges, tucking it into the gaps. Ensure the sticker is firmly attached with no gaps or edges lifting. Let the sticker dry completely. If possible, use moderate heat (e.g., a hair dryer) to speed up the drying process. Avoid washing the car for 1-2 days to allow full adhesion. Cleaning and Removal: To remove the sticker, gently scrape the edge with your fingernail and peel it off. It won't leave marks or damage the paint. In cold weather, if it's difficult to peel the edges, gently heat the adhesive with a hair dryer to soften the glue, making removal easier.
